Workshops:

I’m now running regular photography workshops for beginners in Tokyo. These workshops focus on photography basics to give you fundamental knowledge and practice so you can create better images.

The classes are fun, interactive and practical. By the end of each you will have learned a new set of skills that you can apply immediately. Currently the courses focus on the four following areas, but I will add additional classes as time goes on:

• Camera basics – RAW vs JPG, histograms, lenses, white balance, metering, and more.
• Exposure – aperture, shutter speed, ISO, dynamic range, and more.
• Composition – some of the main visual elements that photographers consider when creating images.
• Editing in Adobe Lightroom – Learn some of the main elements of Adobe Lightroom to help fine tune your images.
